Spoke with a young woman today and she told me that if she posted on Instagram and only got 40 likes she would probably delete it and then cry herself to sleep.
She was not kidding at all about the crying herself to sleep, and I know she would absolutely delete that post. I feel bad for generations after millennials that have only known the reality of their life as it relates to people liking their posts.
The euphoria of knowing that thousands of people have gazed upon your photo and approve of it, it means nothing. You know what’s more important than likes? Leaving a legacy.
Here’s to all my friends out there working hard to provide for their families and their future families. Lets crush 2020!!!
